2nd Annual Conference EV Charging Infrastructure South

25 25 people viewed this event.

Southern states, led by Florida, Texas, and Georgia, are swiftly establishing themselves as key markets for electric vehicles (EVs). These states have also initiated large investments in building charging stations to support the anticipated growth in EV sales. The region is witnessing a transformative shift, evolving into a manufacturing hub for EVs and batteries, creating numerous job opportunities within the EV sector.

Despite these advancements, Southern states face challenges in embracing the full EV revolution, notably the lack of sufficient charging stations. To address this gap and capitalize on the region’s potential, Global Transmission Report is organizing its 2nd Annual Conference on EV Charging Infrastructure South, scheduled for July 24-25, 2024, in Austin, Texas.

The conference will highlight programs, opportunities, technology, and solutions to build a resilient, efficient, and inclusive charging infrastructure across the Southern states. It will bring together different stakeholders – regulators, transportation departments, utilities, EVSEs, OEMs, and developers – to discuss how to expand the charging network with a special focus on the distinctive context of the Southern region.

Through collaboration and knowledge sharing, we aim not just to accelerate the growth of the EV ecosystem, but to drive economic and environmental prosperity. Join us in shaping the future of electric mobility in the South.
