Power of Documentation: Making Learning & Teaching Process Visible
Pedagogical documentation is a fundamental working tool and strategy for teachers, seeking to make visible and understand what takes place during pedagogical work, how much, and what, children know and can do. The crux of documentation is to make the learning and teaching process visible. In other words, it highlights how the children planned, carried out, and completed their work and the subtle way teachers facilitated learning. This two part workshop invites participation from individuals with experience and/or interest in the Reggio Emilia approach from preschool and early primary years. The workshop is designed to increase participants’ knowledge, skill and confidence level in documenting and using documentation to improve the learning and teaching process.
