The Seminar on Ontology Research in Brazil (ONTOBRAS) aims to bring together the community of researchers and students investigating the subject of Ontology in the fields of Computer Science and Information Science, as well as professionals from the information industry, providing opportunities and a scientific environment for the exchange of knowledge on theories, methods, languages and ontology engineering tools and experiences in ontology applications in the solution of various problems.

The event welcomes contributions in all research areas related to: ontology, conceptual modeling, knowledge representation, machine learning.
