New Radiology features lead to better staging, whereas new Surgical techniques, like sentinel node, laparoscopic and robot-assisted procedures, lead to less invasive operations and quicker recovery. New Pathology techniques lead to a better definition of each tumor and give rise to targeted and other systemic therapies. Furthermore, radiation therapies improve and are applied pre- and post-operatively and for palliative settings.
