 Organized by TC-12 of the IEEE Power Electronics Society  IDEAS focuses on the field of energy access and serves as a platform for experts and practitioners in the energy industry to discuss emerging technologies and their impact on global energy transition.  Technologies like PV solar, battery storage, digital controls, and electrified transportation are rapidly transforming the energy landscape and present opportunities for improving energy access in the Global South.  Program includes keynote addresses, technical paper and poster presentations, tutorials, special sessions, and discussions on various factors, including business models, funding, policies, social impact, and more.  IDEAS will also host a special session of the Global Energy Access Forum (GEAF) to address energy access challenges and opportunities,  Will be a venue for the Empower a Billion Lives (EBL)-2025 competition events related to improving global energy access.
